Ruth and Justina cycle for Headway Cambridgeshire

Date Posted: 29-06-2012

Ashton KCJ’s Ruth Booy and Justina Molloy took part in the Cambridge Big Bike Ride on Sunday 8 July to raise funds for Headway Cambridgeshire. They opted for the 201.2km (125 mile) Gold Route which starts at Jesus Green and takes in St Ives, Doddington, Huntingdon, Stilton and St Neots before finishing back at Parker’s Piece. Justina and Ruth are keen cyclists and had been training hard for the event; enduring double spinning classes, circuit training and clocking up over 400 miles on their bikes at weekends during their training weeks.

Ruth heads Ashton KCJ’s Injury Group and is a Trustee of Headway Cambridgeshire. Justina is an Associate in the Catastrophic Injury Team and has developed a niche in handling injury claims for cyclists, runners and tri-athletes. Both are specialist brain injury lawyers and are keen to promote and assist with the fantastic work of Headway Cambridgeshire, which they have seen first-hand through the support provided to their clients.

Headway Cambridgeshire relies on donations and fundraising to provide a full range of services to brain injury survivors, their families and carers.

Ruth and Justina have already raised ove £1,500 but there is still time to sponsor Ruth and Justina at their their JustGiving page.

We send our thanks to Ruth, Justina and all their sponsors and supporters.
