Following a 'Close Shave' Donn Thanks His Supporters
During Brain Injury Awareness Week in May, Cambridgeshire resident, Donn Turner, made the bold decision to shave off his beard and hair in order to raise money for brain injury charity Headway Cambridgeshire. Donn had refused a haircut since last year in order to let his hair grow as long as possible before shaving it off. He said: ‘It was okay in the winter but it’s hard in the hot weather. Headway Cambridgeshire at Addenbrooke’s Hospital
Staff from Headway Cambridgeshire’s Community Team mounted an information and awareness stand at Addenbrooke’s Hospital on Thursday 10 May 2012. The display stand with information, advice and leaflets was situated on the busy concourse at Addenbrooke’s from 9.30 am to 3.30 pm and the team were joined for part of the day by Caroline Molloy from CBIT.
