Prior to coming to Headway, Jacqueline worked in the charity sector for 12 years, including Cambridge Online and Voiceability, where she worked with adults and young adults with learning disabilities running group sessions to enable people to gain more independence and confidence. She also worked as an independence worker with a young adult with ASD for 3 years.

I struggled with a lot of issues, especially how I felt my father’s personality had changed and Headway Cambridgeshire helped me a lot at that time in my life. They made me feel much less alone and I’ll always be grateful for that.
