Headway Cambridgeshire facilitate a number of social and support groups across the county. The aim of the social groups is to provide a relaxed environment within the community where individuals with a brain injury, family, partners and carers can meet to enjoy a meal or a drink, meet new people and share experiences and support.
We have specifically chosen venues that are welcoming, accessible, wheelchair and child friendly and offer value for money. New people are always welcome to join these groups. Unless specified you can just turn up or contact us for more information.
All social groups are facilitated by a Headway Cambridgeshire member of staff who has experience of supporting people with a brain injury and their families.
Our social groups are held monthly at the following locations, times and dates:
Date and time: First Wednesday of every month from 12pm
Venue: The Regal Pub, 38-39 St Andrew’s Street, Cambridge, CB2 3AR

“ The Hospital Brain Injury Co-ordinator became someone who absolutely understood how I felt, I didn’t need to explain. I could talk about my fears and worries. She was such a great support through the difficult days, but could also celebrate the small step successes, which was important to me. ”
