A huge thank you to everyone who was involved in The 2.6 Challenge, the fundraising event set up by London Marathon organisers in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. The challenge was a wonderful, fun, positive event which bought our community together, especially online. It was fantastic to see the engagement on our social media pages, raising awareness of brain injury and the work we do as well as raising crucial funds.
We were blown away with the support received and in total you raised an absolutely brilliant £1,460 for us!!
Charitable donations are more important than ever due to the cancellation of fundraising events across the country and we appreciate that you have thought of us at this difficult time. Our dedicated staff have been working hard to deliver our vital services and the money raised through this event will help us to continue providing 1:1 and group support virtually via video and phone call, so that we can stay connected to clients. Every single one of you that fundraised, donated, shared/liked our social media posts or cheered us on are superstars!

“ The Hospital Brain Injury Co-ordinator became someone who absolutely understood how I felt, I didn’t need to explain. I could talk about my fears and worries. She was such a great support through the difficult days, but could also celebrate the small step successes, which was important to me. ”
