Group Facilitator / Rehabilitation Support Worker
Headway Cambridgeshire are looking to recruit Community Rehabilitation Support Workers and Group Facilitators to our relief panel for work across Cambridgeshire.
Salary £17,000 pro-rata
We are looking to recruit highly motivated male and female Community Rehabilitation Support Workers and Group Facilitators to work within our dynamic team at Headway Cambridgeshire.
The Community Rehabilitation Support Workers will provide support to clients to enable them to identify and achieve their goals in the community as well as providing transition support to enable clients leaving other services (including hospital and rehabilitation programmes) to receive support in the community.
The Group Facilitators will plan, develop and facilitate group activity sessions whilst supporting clients with a brain injury to acquire new knowledge and skills, enabling them to participate in social, leisure, educational and employment activities.
Both roles will also include key working, participation in client reviews and report writing whilst supporting clients in decision making and promoting choice and involvement.
Successful candidates should ideally have an understanding of the effects of brain injury, relevant experience, flexible communication skills and a good level of written English.
This position is subject to an enhanced CRB clearance
