Headway House in Cambridge is a unique resource
and support centre for people who have survived brain injury.
We offer a vibrant yet safe, relaxed and welcoming
atmosphere with services and facilities designed to improve
self-confidence, daily living skills and self-esteem and to promote
independent living.
Our members’ ages range from 16-60, and
over 120
places a week are available. Attendance is voluntary and follows a
visit by a prospective member with their family or carer.
We gear our programmes to each person's abilities
and
preferences. Two key features are the one-to-one sessions tailored to
each person's needs and cognitive therapy.
