A Day In The Life Of Our Chief Executive
Mary Goode is Chief Executive of Headway Cambridgeshire and this is her experience of a typical working day: 5:00: I live between Bury St Edmunds and Diss so it takes me quite a long time to get into work at the Ida Darwin Hospital in Fulbourn. Headway Hens
Headway Cambridgeshire’s clients have been enjoying the benefits of gardening for a few years now in the garden and allotment. The idea to look after chickens came from the clients themselves as they wanted to build upon the successes they have already achieved in the horticulture group. Headway Cambridgeshire hosts Horticulture Community Day
On Friday 14 February 2014 Headway Cambridgeshire hosted a Horticulture Community Day at our Cambridge hub at Ida Darwin. We invited friends and supporters from the community as well as from local business to join in with staff and volunteers to help prepare the garden for spring and summer planting and help launch a very exciting new hen project that will benefit Headway Cambridgeshire’s brain injured clients. Gardening Update
February 2014 Update We have now been at our 'new' home in Ida Darwin for just over a year. The clients have made big plans for the garden and we have made significant progress.
