Vacancy: Community Occupational Therapist

Headway Cambridgeshire is looking to recruit a qualified Occupational Therapist to provide an Occupational Therapy Service which enables individuals with a brain injury to achieve positive and appropriate outcomes and maximize ability and independence.

Community Occupational Therapist

Part time - 15 hours per week

Fixed Term Contract - 1 year 

Salary – £24,302 (pro rata)

Based either in Cambridge or Peterborough

Headway Cambridgeshire is a well-established local charity providing holistic, person centered support and services to people with a brain injury.

The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing, advising and supporting client-led goal setting as well as providing guidance to staff and volunteers. The role will involve both facilitating groups and a caseload of 1:1 clients.

You should have a minimum of 2 years’ experience in a health or social care setting and a good understanding of the issues facing people with a brain injury and their carers. You will need to be able to travel across Cambridgeshire.

This position is subject to an enhanced DBS clearance.
