A huge THANK YOU to everyone who voted for us in this year’s People’s Projects. The results have just been announced, and unfortunately we have not been successful with our bid for up to £50,000 for our Heads Together board game, but our congratulations go to the successful projects.
We’re very grateful for your support in voting for us, and the whole process has created a lot of interest in our organisation and generated much publicity for our work, which can only be a good thing in terms of raising awareness of Brain Injury, and all the ways that Headway Cambridgeshire helps and supports people.
We know how effective our Heads Together game has the potential to be, and the support and messages that we have received over the last few weeks have demonstrated to us just how many people would like us to further develop it, so we are hopeful that we will still be able to attract some funding to do this in the future.
In the meantime, thanks again for all your support.
“ The Hospital Brain Injury Co-ordinator became someone who absolutely understood how I felt, I didn’t need to explain. I could talk about my fears and worries. She was such a great support through the difficult days, but could also celebrate the small step successes, which was important to me. ”
