We hope you have followed the story of Sophie’s Challenge, as she gathered a team of dedicated and variously fit Headway staff and supporters to take part in the Bear Grylls Survival Race near Cambridge on Saturday 20 August 2016.
Sophie said: "Headway is a wonderful organisation; it gives people with a brain injury the opportunity to make the very most of their lives and it is a privilege to work here. We all participated in the Bear Grylls Survival Race to raise money so that this vital work can carry on. It was a challenging day but our clients face far harder challenges each and every day.”
The Headway team along with our wonderful corporate supporters at Bouygues have raised almost £5,000 which will be used to ensure that our clients have the best care possible.
Please visit Sophie’s Team Headway JustGiving page and donate if you haven't already.
Thank you so much to everyone who has supported us in this endeavour.
“ As a brain injured person it can sometimes be hard to feel positive about your progress but the gym instructor at Headway Cambridgeshire pushes me in the right direction and helps me to feel more enthusiastic about what I am able to achieve and what I might achieve in the future. ”
