Headway Cambridgeshire will be exhibiting at an upcoming event for health professionals and people with disabilities. RISE 4 Disability is taking place at the Peterborough Arena on the East of England Showground on Wednesday 22nd February 2017.
The aim of the event is to help people with disabilities find the right products and services either directly or through a healthcare adviser, carer or family member. There will be over 90 exhibitors, from wheelchairs to sensory equipment to hoists.
There will also be conference presentations based around resourcing and identifying suitable equipment, as well as workshops providing in-depth product demonstrations. All day entertainment will include wheelchair dancing and the incredible skills of Molly the assistance dog. Visitors will also be able to purchase small daily living aids from the marketplace.
The event is free to attend and is open from 9am to 5pm. Parking is free on site.
