Have you got the Will?
It is Remember A Charity Week and we have worked in conjunction with local law firm Slater and Gordon to create ‘A guide to making your Will’ to provide some practical help.
Your Will is one of the most important documents in your life because it will make sure that your wishes are carried out and that the people and causes you care about are taken care of. We therefore want to help you to get yours right.
Our guide includes lots of useful information including the benefits of writing your Will, what happens if you don’t have one, what you should include, what to do if you already have one, where you can go for further support and what to do if you’d like to leave a gift in your Will to a charity.
You can download the guide here.
Your journey with Headway Cambridgeshire
Since our creation in 1989 by Peter and Sarah Durrant we have supported and transformed the lives of thousands of people with a brain injury. Next year Headway Cambridgeshire will be 30 years old and we are going to be needed for the next 30 years and probably much longer, although we wish this was not the case.
You can help to make sure we are always here to support those that need us by leaving your legacy. This can be almost any size and any shape.
If you’d like to continue your journey with Headway Cambridgeshire then please contact us for further information or speak with your solicitor when you make your Will. You will need to include the following information for any gift left to Headway Cambridgeshire:
Name: Headway Cambridgeshire
Charity no: 1062886
“ Thank you for the support and advice that you have been giving my husband. This has in turn taken a lot of pressure off me and has helped me through his bad days and angry spells. ”
