24th May, 2019 - 5th July, 2019
Ends: 5th July, 2019
Join the Research Group to celebrate our National Lottery Heritage funded project, "IMPACT! Brain Injuries and WWI" and Headway Cambridgeshire’s 30th anniversary. The group have been researching the types of brain injuries sustained by soldiers in World War One, the treatments they received, the doctors who treated them, and the hospitals where they received treatments.
As part of this celebration, students from Coleridge Community College and Oakes College at Netherhall School will perform dramatic and musical responses to the research. The performances will be followed by a drinks reception.
There will also be an opportunity to view original artwork based on the research, produced by students from the Illustration Department at Anglia Ruskin University. This artwork will shortly be displayed on, and in, buses in Cambridge, as part of an awareness raising campaign.
Tickets are available from the Mumford Theatre Box Office. You can also call 01223 352932 or visit in person at Mumford Theatre, Anglia Ruskin University, East Rd, Cambridge CB1 1PT.
You can find out more about the project here.
