3rd December, 2015
As part of Cambridge Disability History Month, Headway will be holding a stall at the Meadows Community Centre in Cambridge on Monday 7 December with a focus on our Making Headway project, funded by the British Heritage. The day will include speakers, performers, stalls and various other activities. The event is open to the public between 10.30am and 2pm so why not come along and get involved?
Wendy, our regular client blogger, has given us an update of the project's progress..
"We have finally got our time-line sorted on our corridor wall at our Fulbourn site. It seemed to take ages to get going but we now have lots of pictures and comments. It's very interesting so watch out for more"
“ As a brain injured person it can sometimes be hard to feel positive about your progress but the gym instructor at Headway Cambridgeshire pushes me in the right direction and helps me to feel more enthusiastic about what I am able to achieve and what I might achieve in the future. ”
