Right from the start of our project we wanted to know how the way we think about, treat and understand brain injury has changed through history. After our months of research we had a lot of information to put together. The Research Group decided that the best way to display what we had found was in a digital timeline. This lays out all the research in chronological order so you can scroll backwards or forwards through history to see the changes to medical practices, laws and legislation, and the influential people who lead us to our understanding of brain injury today.

“ The Hospital Brain Injury Co-ordinator became someone who absolutely understood how I felt, I didn’t need to explain. I could talk about my fears and worries. She was such a great support through the difficult days, but could also celebrate the small step successes, which was important to me. ”
