Our Services

We gear our services to each person's needs, abilities and preferences. The focus of our work is about identifying skills and working with people to maximise their potential and promote equality, choice and independence according to the Social Model of Disability.

We provide services that consist of the following elements:

Personal Development
Sessions in daily living skills, physical fitness training, IT, drama, photography, arts, crafts, and music. Cognitive rehabilitation sessions are also available to enhance memory, boost confidence and assist in the relearning of some skills whilst teaching new ones.

Learning Opportunities
This focuses on increasing an individual's opportunity to learn, so that they are able to achieve their ambitions, realise their potential. Access to further education is encouraged and supported.

Vocational Skills
Programmes are available for people whose longer-term aspirations and objectives are to progress into paid or unpaid work or get back to work after an injury.

Information, Advice and Guidance
We provide Carers' Support Groups, welfare and benefits signposting, help with form filling and progressing personal injury claims.

Education and Awareness
We want to share our skills and experience of working with people with a brain injury and also educate people so that brain injury may be prevented. We therefore have Education and Awareness programmes that focus on prevention as well as giving others the skills we have acquired. We also provide workshops with guest speakers on specific topics to do with brain injury and other services available within Cambridgeshire.
